Hi, I'm Jeff!

I'm Jeff Holmes, and together with my wife Sam, we are Holmes Away From Home. We're based in Ormond Beach, Florida, and we spend as much of our lives as we can out exploring: theme parks, resorts, cruise ships, small towns, and the road trips in between.

How it started

Holmes Away From Home began as a simple idea: bring people along on our trips. What started as filming our vacations has grown into a travel channel with more than 21,000 subscribers and over 220 videos on YouTube. I cover everything from Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando to ship tours, hotel stays, and hidden gems across Florida and beyond.

The shop that funds the adventures

Every video takes time, travel, and money, so I started hand pouring wax melts at home in Ormond Beach. Each scent is inspired by the places we travel, from cruise decks and coaster queues to cozy fall festivals. Every order from the Holmes Travel Shop helps fund the next adventure, and Sam and I pack each one ourselves with a thank you note inside. When you shop with us, you're literally putting gas in the tank, or these days, charge in the battery.
